This impromptu photo, meant to be a political statement against chain stores  driving out local businesses, emerged without any digital adjustments as a replica of hand-tinted prints I'd created fifteen years ago, when first arriving in rural Philippines...and as soon as I can find where I stashed the original prints, I will upload them here, too, but for now will have to make due with photos of the postcards made from them...
