This drawing, and the close up photo of one of the hinges on PILAR's companionway ladder, were prompted by Day 3 of a 31 Day Photo Challenge . The day's challenge was "HANDMADE", and though I was pleased with the hinges themselves, they were part of the whole ladder, handmade, so I decided to then draw by hand, into my daily journal, the ladder itself. And ran the page through the printer to include the photo. Nothing fantastic in terms of Art, but wonderfully satisfying to document the work in my journal.
