I regret not remembering the name of the gifted artist who did this watercolor portrait of PILAR. He was another cruiser anchored in the La Paz, Baja California anchorage, a single-handed New Zealand man, very kind, generous and a delightfully wicked sense of decorum. Am ever-grateful he so skillfully captured the beauty and joy of sailing, and without fail am returned to those long-ago days each time I gaze at his work.
