Cooking is an Art. Cooking in a pitching, rolling, minuscule kitchen is an art, also, so in designing PILAR's galley we located it amidships, where it is comfortable, stable, and beautifully organized to deal with every situation. There is a removable 'fiddle' to keep anything from sliding off the counter, as well as more fiddles to separate and hold pots on the stove. She has a foot pump that allows two hands freed to obtain water, and deep lockers for storage of firewood, canned goods, and all other cooking supplies needed, as well as two sinks, one extra deep beneath the folding, chopping block cover. A JOY!
