In haste, too often, copy/paste quotes as I find them and think I will use them later in a post. But sometimes forget to credit the author. I think this may be one of them..I think I may be quoting myself in the first part, inspired by the reverberation of Popova's discussion in one of her many (brilliant) posts. Whoever said it, the words still ring with echoing truth for the blessings of books in our lives: I strive to find books, even just one book, for one child, that will reach into these children the -place that is not the mind” so they, too, can have within them the gift of a glow from an inextinguishable light.
